Individual Therapy

You don't have to be falling apart to know something needs to change.

Maybe you're functioning. Going to work. Looking after everyone else. Getting through the week.

But something isn't sitting right.

You keep having the same argument.
You can't switch your brain off.
Your emotions feel bigger than you know what to do with.
You understand why you do it — but can't seem to do anything differently.

That's where therapy can start.

What therapy actually looks like

It's not sitting quietly while someone asks, “And how does that make you feel?”

We'll talk.

We'll think things through.

Sometimes we'll go back. Sometimes we'll just sit in what's happening right now.

There might be skills to learn, patterns to unpack, memories to process or relationships to understand.

Some sessions will feel productive. Some might feel uncomfortable.

Some might simply be the first time you've said something out loud and had someone actually understand what you meant.

There isn't a perfect way to do therapy.

When you know something isn’t quite right

But you can't quite work out what.

Therapy isn't always about having a clear problem to solve.

Sometimes it's the feeling that you're constantly reacting instead of choosing.

Sometimes it's knowing your patterns inside out and still finding yourself back in them.

Sometimes it's wondering why something that happened years ago still seems to have a say in how you live now.

And sometimes, honestly, you're just tired of trying to figure yourself out alone.

We can start with what's happening now.

Let's just start where you are

Not where you think you should be…
